So, I have an iPhone 4. Is there anyway to use my iPhone while I'm in India? I've heard about a sim card but not exactly sure what to do. I am going to have a talk with Mr. Google but thought I'd ask here too. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Hi Fred, we did this when we were in India last month. You need to make sure your iPhone is unlocked by your US carrier for using the phone overseas with an international SIM. Then when you're in India, you'll need to provide a local address (we used our hotel's address) and photo for your prepaid SIM application. Since you're staying at the Svelte, you can get your SIM at the Planet M in the attached mall. Email me if you have any other questions. Good luck!
